Every photographer should have a sister as photogenic as my sister Madeline. She was the first person I ever did a “photo shoot” with back when all I had was my mom’s old Kodak digital camera. We dragged a hideous old orange chair out into a field and spent hours out there taking pictures. Fast forward about 4 years and here I am, still dressing her up and making her pose for my camera. As you can see she’s gotten pretty good at modeling for me over the years. She’s always up for trying anything I suggest, even if it means hiking a mile into the woods in the middle of winter (you can see those photos here, totally worth it). I don’t know what I would do without this girl! She’s one of my best friends, despite our 7 year age difference.
We’ve been trying to get some great photos of Madeline and her horse Jack for a while now, unfortunately he would much rather eat grass than pose for us.
I did get some great shots of Madeline and her best friend Courtney, beautiful girls inside and out!
